Director of Communications
The Director of Communications facilitates communications among PMI-NH members, Board members, local companies, media, and others interested in PMI and PMI-NH. The director also publicizes PMI-NH internally within PMI-NH, PMI, and other PMI chapters.

Member In Good Standing– PMI – New Hampshire, no
outstanding financial commitments,

No legal action underway, pending or contemplated
with PMI – New Hampshire Chapter

Potential conflicts of interest are clearly
expressed
-
Ability to represent the Board & membership in a
consistently professional manner
-
PMP is desired

Typical Duties
-
Act as the Editor-in-Chief and Executive publisher of the PMI-NH Journal, including
-
Direction of the PMI-NH Journal Board of Editors
-
Maintaining contact with other PMI chapters (and other professional associations) to promote the Journal
-
Assuring the accuracy of information in the PMI-NH Journal
-
Conducts email outreach to members and interested parties, such as meeting announcements and other Chapter news.

Manages and is the primary contact for PMI-NH Job Postings

Prepares and submits an annual budget to the Chapter treasurer. Financial duties include:

Managing revenue and expenses per the Board-approved annual budget.
Reporting significant variances (positive and negative) to the Board.
Obtaining Board approval for all non-budgeted expenses.
Mentors a successor.
Participates in board meetings, assist in defining, refining goals
Is available to surge to another member’s project when needed
Is an ambassador of PMI-NH
